Fire Smoke Foods wants your event to be a huge success. The best way to achieve this is through a strong, honest, and open relationship where everything is clear about what is expected from both sides. By confirming a booking, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1) Quotations
- We will provide you with a written quotation for your event. The quotation is valid for the event date specified and for 2 months from the date it was issued.
- If your event date changes, it may be necessary to review the details and reissue a new quotation.
2) Booking Confirmation & Payments
- Acceptance: Confirmation of any event is taken as acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
- Deposit to secure date: A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking date. Although deposits are non-refundable, deposit refunds remain at the discretion of Fire Smoke Foods.
- Bookings within 30 days: For bookings taking place within the next 30 days, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required.
- Balance due: Full payment is required 15 days before your event.
- Provisional holds: Provisional booking dates will be held for a maximum of 14 days. If the deposit is not received within this timeframe, the date may be released.
3) Cancellations
How to cancel: All cancellations must be made by telephone in the first instance and then confirmed via email. Your event is considered cancelled only when you receive written cancellation acceptance by email from Fire Smoke Foods.

4) Liability & Insurance
Fire Smoke Foods maintains public liability insurance appropriate for events of this nature. A copy of our current certificate (PDF) is available upon request.
5) Food Safety & HACCP Policy
- Fire Smoke Foods strictly follows HACCP guidelines for all food production, handling, storage, distribution, and service to clients and guests.
- In line with HACCP guidance, our policy restricts the service of foodstuffs to a maximum of four (4) hours after removal from refrigeration.
- We advise that all food is consumed within two (2) hours of initial serving. Any consumption after two hours from first service is at the client’s discretion and therefore becomes the client’s liability.
